2006 First Place Winner Peanut Butter Category Raine Gottess Crust: 18 Nutter Butter cookies (crushed-fine) 3 1/2 T butter (melted) Mix together in a bowl until moist and press into 9-10" deep dish pie pan, freeze 10 minutes to firm. Layer 1: 12 oz. cream cheese, softened 1 1/2 C powdered sugar 1 T milk 1 tsp. vanilla 8 oz Creamy Cool Whip In a mixer, beat well until blended and spread 1/2 of the mixture over the crust. Filling: Chop 4 Reese´s Peanut Butter Cups and place over Layer 1, freeze about 5 minutes. Layer 2: Take the remaining mixture from Layer 1 and add: 1/4 C brown sugar 1 C creamy peanut butter 6 oz. Cool Whip In a mixer, blend well. Spread over filling. Decorate with Cool Whip over entire pie, add a sprinkle of crushed peanuts and 4 chopped Reese´s Peanut Butter Cups. Refrigerate 8 hours.
