Southern Charm Pecan Pie Pecan Category Crust Ingredients: 1 ¼ cup of flour 1 tablespoon sugar ½ teaspoon of salt ½ cup butter 4 tablespoons water How To: -Mix flour, sugar, salt and softened butter together, mix until mix is crumbly. -Add in water and mix. -Roll mixture into a ball on a floured surface, slightly flatten and wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. -Roll crust out on a floured surface and drape in pie pan loosely, mold crust. Pie Filling Ingredients: ½ cup butter ¼ cup sugar ¾ cup brown sugar ¾ cup light corn syrup 3 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 ½ cup crushed pecans ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips ½ cup semisweet white chocolate chips 2 tablespoons molasses 1 cup whole pecans (for the top) How To: -Mix the butter, sugars, corn syrup, eggs, vanilla extract and molasses until frothy. -Mix in the crushed pecans and chocolate chips. -Pour mixture into your prepared pie crust. (You may have more than you need) -Spread your 1 cup whole pecans over the top. -Bake on 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until set. -Cool completely at room temperature. -Serve with whip cream. -Enjoy!
