Pie Crust: 2 Cups King Arthur Flour 1/2 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar 1/2 Tablespoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 egg (gently beat egg in a bowl and divide) 1/2 cup Crisco 1/3 cup cold butter Apple filling 6 cups peeled apple slices 1 Tablespoon lemon juice 1 cup sugar 2 teaspoons cinnamon 2 tablespoons King Arthur flour 2 tablespoons butter Process all ingredients for the pie crust in a food processor (Ninja). Divide in half. Roll out one half on floured surface to the size to fit in a 9-inch pie pan. Roll out second half to place on top of prepared apples. Peel 5-6 apples and thinly slice them. In a large bowl, add apple slices and sprinkle slices with lemon juice, Add the sugar and cinnamon. Mix gently while adding the flour. Fill pie crust with apple mixture and dot butter on top of mixture. Top with another crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
