Chocolate Lover Covered Cherry Pie

Chocolate Lover Covered Cherry

Comstock Cherry
Crust:
2 cups flour
1 cup Crisco
½ cup cold water
Pinch salt
2 tablespoons sugar
Knead flour, sugar, Crisco, salt together then add cold water. This makes enough for two crusts. Form a dough ball and separate half of it. Roll a piece of dough out and press into pie pan. Bake on 350 for 20 min.
Filling:
1 can Cherry Comstock pie filling
1 8oz cream cheese
½ cup powdered sugar
3/4 cup chocolate syrup
2 cups heavy cream
Whip cream cheese and powdered sugar together. Pour chocolate syrup and heavy cream and whip until thickens. Pour a layer of chocolate mixture into pie crust. Pour a layer of cherry Comstock on top of chocolate layer. Add another layer of chocolate mixture on cherry filling. Add remaining cherry filling on top in center of chocolate layer. Refrigerate before serving.
