Caramel Walnutty Apple

CARAMELIE WALNUTTY APPLE

Crust:
2 cups flour
1 cup Crisco
2 TBS sugar mixed to form crumbles
½ cup cold water mixed until bough ball can be formed.
Roll out place in pie plate.

4 cups apple
2 cups sugar
1 can caramel flavored sweetened condensed milk
6 Tbs. tapioca
6 Tbs. butter
½ cup red hots melted
1 Tbs. cinnamon
½ tsp. clove
½ tsp. cardamom
½ cup Abbott’s salted caramels cubed
1 cup chopped English walnuts.

Mix and pour into crust. Cover with decorated dough and bake @ 350 for 1 ½ hr.
