Candy Caramel Apple Pecan Pie

Candy Caramel Apple Pecan

Crust:
2 cups flour
1 cup Crisco
½ cup cold water
Pinch salt
2 tablespoons sugar
Knead flour, Crisco, sugar, salt and cold water together to form dough ball. This makes enough for two pie crusts. Cut in half and roll each piece out with a rolling pin. Take second piece and make a lattice top or you can cut out apples with a cookie cutter and place all over the top of your pie.
Filling:
4 cups Jonathan Apples
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup pecan pieces
3 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons butter
Combine apples, flour, brown sugar, butter and pecans together then mix. Stir on stove top for 30 minutes. Pour into pie crust and place crust over and bake on 350 degrees for 1 ½ hours.
