Maple Nut Goodie

Maple Nut Goodie Pie

1½ cup crushed Maple Cookies
¼-1/2 cup sugar (depending on sweetness of cookie)
4 Tablespoons butter, melted
Mix in a medium bowl, crackers, sugar, and butter. When fully incorporated, press into a greased 9-9.5” pie plate and bake 6 to 8 minutes in a 350°F degree oven or until golden in color. Cool. (Note: Depending on depth of pie pan you could have a little extra.)

Chocolate/Peanut Layer:
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup chocolate chips, melted
2 Tablespoons Cocoa
2 Tablespoons Sugar
2 Tablespoons Corn Syrup
¾ cup peanut butter, chunky
In microwave safe dish, melt chocolate chips until melted. Cream cheese, add melted chips and blend. Add cocoa , sugar and corn syrup. When fully incorporated, add peanut butter. Press mixture evenly into crust, coming up the sides slightly.

Caramel Filling:
½ cup caramel sauce
1 Tablespoon Maple Extract
¾ cup salted peanuts, whole or slightly chopped
Spread Caramel Filling over the chocolate/peanut layer.

Top with your favorite whipped topping. Garnish and decorate as desired.
